How To Remove Stains From Granite
How To Remove Stains From Granite
That said there are many company's out there who do not use this process and your tops will stain.
Did you no you can remove stains on granite with general household materials including bleach, bicarbonate of soda and cling film? this is a little known process and is extremely effective in removing stains from granite. First of all you need to purchase a thick bleach which you can buy here you will then need the bicarbonate which you can get here the last thing you should get is cling film which you can purchase from almost anywhere. I would also recommend using rubber gloves as bleach can burn the skin. I will go through the simple process below step by step.
HOW IT'S DONE - In a plastic container first add three or four heaped table spoons of Bicarbonate Of Soda then add two to three table spoons of bleach. Mix the two together until you have the texture of a thick paste, add more soda or bleach if required. Once you have your paste you want to carefully apply it to the stain on your worktop making sure the stain is covered with a good layer of the paste. When you are happy apply your sheet of cling film over the paste be sure to remove any air bubbles as this will keep the mixture moist. for best results leave for 24 hours before removing the cling film then wipe away the paste with a sponge you will be amazed by the results. If the stain is still visible repeat the process. When you get your desired result be sure to come back and leave your comments.
